Social Networks
We have been active in social networks during key
sporting events in which our students have worked,
such as the 2013 Handball World Cup hosted
in Madrid and won by Spain, the Madrid Tennis
MUTUA Open, the “Match for Hope” organised
by Spain’s football captain Iker Casillas or the
Comunidad Valenciana Moto GP Grand Prix.
Our students and social network profiles have also
been active during important cultural events such
as the Goya Awards Gala, the launching in Spain
of Grazia magazine, the presentation of the musical
“Marta tiene un marcapasos”, and the Arenal Sound
and Viñarock festivals, amongst others, with retwitts
of intenational artists and bands like Alejandro Sanz,
Metronomy or Káiser Chiefs.
We were present and active in important moments of
the social agenda such as Madrid Fashion Week, or
solidarity events such as UNCHR’s World Refugee Day,
both with great impact in social networks.
11. Social Network
Management
FACEBOOK
www.facebook.com/ispeprotocolo
Facebook is ISPE’s main showcase in social
networks, with 2,000 followers and reaching 6,000
people weekly.
News, activities and events in which UCJC and ISPE
take part are updated daily in our profile, where
sector events, and images from student projects are
also shared.
IPSE documents each activity, taking pictures of
students, speakers, and events that are later shared
so students and followers know what our students
are up to on a daily basis.
Students share and comment pictures, interacting
through our profile.
TWITTER
@ispeprotocolo
@eventosucjcispe
ISPE has two Twitter accounts. @ispeprotocolo is our
institutional profile, whereas @eventosucjcispe is used
exclusively for practical assignments.
Our institutional profile posts industry and institutional
news, as is the case with Facebook. Through this
profile, student activities and photos are tweeted in real
time.
Each activity has its own hashtag through which
students share their experiences, and comment on what
is taking place in the workshop or event.
The practical assignment profile aims to inform students
and followers of what hands-on projects are happening
or are available to students.
Students, as they do through the institutional twitter,
share their experience of the event they are organising
and managing.
12. YOUTUBE and VIMEO
ProtocoloUCJCeISPE
Each event and activity has a photographic summary
in video format, available to students and followers.
Content can be accessed through YouTube, or
Vimeo for devices which can display YouTube.
Video summaries of each term and of the whole year
are also produced and posted online.
