Before I started the MCBS Program,
I was undecided on my major and
thought I would never know what I
wanted to do that would bring me
joy and drive me.

I had always thought I wanted to be
a meteorologist.

Within me, I always new
that meteorology wasn't something I
would always be interested in.

Because of that I felt defeated
because I was unsure of what I
wanted to do.

Because of that I began to try other
things that might spark my interest,
like history but, I realized I was only
interested in specific parts of history
and it didn't prove lucrative.

Because of that I continued my
search.

I was too worried about what people
would think.

I was also too worried about how
hard it would be.

For a time I allowed defeat to get
the best of me.

Until finally I realized I loved
anything to do with communicating,
media, television, social media, the
internet and entertainment.

I have a passion and goal to one
day own a TV network as well as
produce television shows and news
shows.

I also have a strong passion for
music and I would like my
background in media and my love
for media to help me pursue higher
levels in the music industry.

I want to own a TV network that is
focused on music and entertainment
such as, MTV.

But I also want that TV network to
have a foundation of faith.

16. +
I want to inspire and ignite change
in other young people just like me.

17. +
And ever since I decided to pursue
my passion for media and it has
been one of the most rewarding and
educating experiences of my life!

I am so glad that I made this
decision because I feel more
committed to my purpose and what I
want to do in life.
