This is my mini project presentation on "Personalized Outdoor Audio Tour Guide with Augmented Reality". This is mainly describing about a smart phone application solution that uses location APIs and a simple learning algorithm to function as a tour guide.

 But yet to be supported with technologies
 In Sri Lanka you can see tourists with book and
phones off.
 Appointing a tour guides are fairly expensive.
 Digitalizing Sri Lankan tourism industry is certainly
a plus.

 Some places are not available in APIs.
 Using foursquare mobile app, added all those
places
 Internet signal is not available in all
places.
 This app caches place details and save them
locally.
 Battery consumption.
 Direct X is the answer. C++ libraries of GART
boosts the performance and uses less battery2012
