2. Intercultural dialogue is a vast subject with its
social, educational, business, environment,
health care and many other dimensions.
We, the members of the Maharashtra State
Branch of the Indian Scout & Guide Fellowship
and its district units in the city of Mumbai &
Thane embarked upon a crucial health care
project of “campaign to fight against TB” in
the month of April 2017 with its background
history of working with a senior TB specialist,
Dr.Lalit Anande at Asia’s biggest 1500
bedded hospital in Mumbai.
3. We, in Mumbai, could gather very fruitful data
on the treatment of TB patients by providing
nutritional therapy and thereby reducing the
rate of mortality & extending the life span of
the patients and even make them free from
the disease.
4. TB is the most rampant and rapid disease
spreading in large part of the world,
particularly in poor, underdeveloped and
developing countries in Asia, Africa, Arab
World and elsewhere.
The co-operation of the ISGF Members. In
different countries will result in intercultural
relationship in health care irrespective of
caste, creed, religion, language and any
racial discrimination.

patients who left the clinic without treatment
but had received adequate nutritional support

14. Maharashtra State Ind SGF Branch & Its Thane
and Grater Mumbai Units took up a project to
provide Micro-Nutrients Therapy to them.

30 patients ware taken up for study and were
given regular dosages of Micro-Nutrients
including Vitamin A, C, D, multi vitamins,
Calcium & Enriched Protein Powder.
Patients were followed up for three months to
study key parameters.
