This document describes a proposed IoT-based system to test soil parameters on farms and determine appropriate crops. Sensors such as a pH sensor, temperature sensor, and humidity sensor would be placed in farmland to measure soil characteristics. The sensor values would be sent via WiFi to a field manager and mobile app to suggest suitable crops. The system aims to make soil testing portable and help farmers optimize crop yields by monitoring soil moisture, temperature, and pH and adjusting irrigation as needed based on real-time sensor data and crop requirements.
