2007 Manifestation “Het Akkoord van Schokland” 
WASH-Akkoord.
By signing this agreement, the waterboards, together with
other key players in the Dutch water sector, linked to
commit themselves to the achievement of Millennium
Development Goal 7c.
This objective involves halving the number of people
without access to safe drinking water and / or proper
sanitation.
The WASH agreement has a strong impetus to the
international commitment of the water boards.
