Michigan State University's State of the State Survey is a landline phone and cellphone survey of about 1,000 state residents per quarter. It's goal is to offer research opportunities, to tap state attitudes and opinions on trending topics and to foster education at every level. It is a project of MSU's Institute for Public Policy and Social Research in the university's College of Social Science.The Institute's Office for Survey Reserach conducts the survey.
