CCME How To - Diverting incoming PSTN calls to another PSTN number
1. CCME 8.6 - HOW TO
Diverting incoming PSTN calls to another PSTN number.
2. CCME 8.6 - HOW TO
Diverting incoming PSTN calls to another PSTN number.
Define a directory Entry as company extension
Some companies / enterprises need continuous service personnel availability . That means that calls coming from valuable customers must be diverted, if no answer at a specific company phone, to an outside specific mobile/ fixed phone where service personnel could be reached. In the description of this basic procedure we will assume that we are using and running: a CCME 8.6, BRI interface, SIP protocol enabled, a SIP phone, and we are able to log in to the router through telnet or through the console port. In this example we will use internal company extension 130.
CCME8.6# conf t
CCME8.6(config)# voice register dn 30
CCME8.6(config)# number 130
CCME8.6(config)# call-forward b2bua noan 0292781 timeout 5
CCME8.6(config)# name Support
Enter in configuration terminal
If a call to an extension will not be answered after a timeout of â5â seconds, then will be diverted to PSTN extension â0292781â
1. First of all define a directory entry and all his parameters
Define internal extension â130 â
Define a directory entry â30 â
Define a Directory name
3. CCME 8.6 - HOW TO
Diverting incoming PSTN calls to another PSTN number.
Define an entry on CCME 8.6 to register SIP Phone
CCME8.6(config)# voice register pool 30
CCME8.6(config)# id mac 001A.E80C.A5B9
CCME8.6(config)# number 1 dn 30
CCME8.6(config)# username 130 password 130
CCME8.6(config)# description Support
2. Define an entry on CCME 8.6 to register SIP Phone, and all his parameters
Set a description. Useful for faster undestanding when reading long configuration.
Define entry â30â to register SIP Phone.
Associate MAC-Address usually written on back side of phone.
Apply as first number assigned to this phone (1), the previously defined directory entry â30â.
Set user and password that must match on phone configuration.
