(57) Abstract :
Two-wheeler segment is one of the most important components of the automobile sector that has undergone significant changes
mainly due to shift in policy environment. The development of the industry depends on the capacity and its speed to innovate and
upgrade. This industry is absorbing new technologies and is aligning itself to global developments. The addition of new features, with
reasonable cost, gives the manufacturer competitive edge over others. This project attempts to minimize the road accidents as when a
two wheeler is started with its side stand remaining upright, the side stand tends to impinge on the road surface, particularly when a
two wheeler is turned to the side of the side stand, thus leading to its overturning. To solve the problem described, an attempt has been
made to automatically relieve the side stand from service position to free position by self-retrieving side stand system (SRS). This
SRS system comprises a rotatable clutch lever and a key lever attachable to the frame. These lever help in maintain the upright
position to the stand. Now, as soon as the rider actuates the key and applies clutch, which leaves the levers free and a strategically
placed spring pulls the side stand up thereby with the aid of this system the manual process of relieving the side stand is eliminated.

(57) Abstract :
Cancer is the most dreaded disease and is the second leading cause of death worldwide and accounted for 7.6 million deaths (around
13 per cent of all deaths) occurred in low and middle income countries in 2008. Fatalities from cancer worldwide are projected to
continue to rise to over 13.1 million in 2030. Based on the current rate of incidence, it is believed that one in every three persons will
develop cancer at some time during his life. Nanotechnology is a useful tool for developing ways to eradicate cancer cells without
harming healthy, neighbouring cells. Nanotechnology offers a more targeted approach and this could provide significant benefits to
cancer patients, hi fact, the use of nanoparticles for drug delivery and targeting is likely one of the most exciting and clinically
important applications of cancer nanotechnology. So it was thought of interest to make an attempt to develop nano-gelatin
encapsulated GR and Lycopene from the commonly consumed food, tomato in combating cancer by sustaining their stability, as
nanomedicine in future would play a crucial role in treatment of human diseases and also in enhancement of normal human
physiology. From the results obtained in the study, it is evident that there was a feasibility of synthesizing nano-gelatin encapsulated
GR and Lycopene and these compounds were found to be stable at 4°C for a period of more than 90 days and also the nano-size of
100 nm of these compounds was evident through characterization using UV-Visible spectroscopy, SEM and FTIR analysis. It was
exciting to note that both Glutathione Reductase and Lycopene in nano-gelatin encapsulated forms proved to have more cytotoxicity
and are also capable of efficiently inhibiting the cell cycle progression at various phases of the cell cycle in human breast and lung
cancer cells when compared to the extracted forms. Apart fi-om this both the encapsulated compounds were found to be non-toxic to
normal vero (healthy) cells. Abbreviation - GR - Glutathione Reductase, SEM - Scanning electron microscopy, FTIR - Fourier
transform infrared spectroscopy.

The present invention relates to the synthesis of BDMCA, a novel curcumin analog was loaded into biodegradable nanoparticles and
its in-vitro release kinetics and in-vivo antidiabetic potential was evaluated. Nanoparticle formulations were characterized for
entrapment efficiency, drug content, particles size, in vitro drug release and the drug-polymer interaction. The in-vivo antidiabetic
property of the formulation was evaluated in streptozocin induced diabetic rats. The BDMCA loaded chitosan nanoparticles were
successfully prepared using ion gelation technique. The particles were spherical in shape with smooth surface in scanning electron
microscopy (SEM) image. Average mean size of the curcumin analog nanoparticles was found to be approximately within the range of
120-150 nm. FTIR datas of chitosan, CNP BDMCA and B-CNCs confirms the encapsulation of BDMCA in chitosan. The nanoparicle
formulations effectively sustained the release of the drug was explained using invitro release kinetics. The antidiabetic activity of B-
CNCs was comparable with that of the standard drug and also more efficient than un-encapsulated BDMCA.

gas. Usually, a Gas cock comprising a housing fitted with a valve with two inlet ports, one for maximum and another for minimum.
But it can not provide 100% leak proof even when port is in closed condition because two tapper cones cannot be seal proof under
pressure but the invention (improved gas cock) does do the sealing and also leading to saving of gas. By using a gasket in the valve
positioned to the inlet port of the housing, so it can be 100% leak proof

beside booster on roof and air-profile tailoring & flow-reacting steeron vanes, composes an utmost safeversatileuser friendly system.
The craft, sans wingspropellersrudder-rotors blades--tailfannose and their odd behaviourals, presents a novel combo. Its vertical jet
engines in mid-body that generate an up-thrust of unhinderedpowerful-even blast, not feasible of rotor-crafts. The regulated blast-
flow (backwardforwardsidewaysdownwards) by sliding/radial-rotatable manipulator, facilitates cruise, while controlled blasts regulate
its rise & hovering. The airfoil-profile of full head-span, jet air-intakes and steerons also contribute to lift. The roof-end high jet/s
boosts climb & cruise. The strategically located steerons execute all maneuvers. COAT can land or take-off vertically/inclined or on
short run, besides facilitate shorter maneuverings. The utmost safety of lives & properties ensured by judicious manipulation of dual
steering, fire extinguishers, jettison of engine-on-fire, combo of 3-6 jets, parachutes, besides a compact body of chord 9-21m, span 6-
15m & thickness max 4m (6,twin decks). COATs versatility attributed to over 60 options, offered by 8models5molds 6modes and 50-
200 seats apportioned for multifarious applications, is remarkable. Its unique compact form economizes on spaces, services and fees.
COATs simplicity reduces costs (capital-operation-MRO), moreover lower stress-strain and robust body extends life span. All add up
to make COAT the par-excellence craft.

(57) Abstract :
This invention relates to a coaxial-waveguide IMP ATT oscillator having a coaxial-waveguide cavity, an IMPATT diode adapted to
be placed inside the said coaxial-waveguide cavity and tuning arrangement for maximizing the output power. The coaxial-waveguide
cavity comprises a reduced height rectangular waveguide with iris in the bottom broad-wall of the waveguide with which the coaxial
line is integrated by means of two coaxial spacers having central hole. A stepped impedance transformer is used to match the
impedance of the reduced height waveguide of the coaxial-waveguide cavity with the full height waveguide delivering power to the
load. The IMPATT diode is reverse biased with a power supply that feeds d.c. power to the diode through a bias-post. The designed
coaxial-waveguide IMPATT oscillator is capable of generating millimetre-wave power of 1.0 Watt using GaAs IMPATT diode and
operates at 34.25 GHz having a bandwidth of 20% of the operating frequency.

(57) Abstract :
Our invention relates to an innovative method of collection of hemolymph (blood) from adductor muscles of a commercially
important pearl forming edible mollusc Lamellidens marginalis by employing microdrilling of shell. Conventional method of
hemolymph collection involves invasive procedure of adductor muscle dissociation (cutting) and puncturing of heart of Lamellidens
marginalis. Our semi invasive method involves drilling of external shell to create a small pore (0.5 mm diameter), through which a
needle (21 gauge) fitted with syringe is inserted for hemolymph collection. This method is claimed to be an effective and improved
one over conventional and invasive procedure of cardiac puncture since our method causes less tissue damage, nil mortality, and take
less time for collection of uncontaminated of hemolymph. Conventional invasive method of hemolymph collection results in hundred
percent mortality of specimens due to severe loss of blood, tissue damage and complete removal of external shell which is the
important organ and physicochemical barrier to parasite and pathogen. Our innovative method removes all of these disadvantages and
short comings.
