Based on the question – How global were our ISSN schools?Created journey map known as our matrix which was a framework for creating a “global school”Then created site visit process to collect evidence on matrix – describeClear that conceptually the schools within the PGL could benefit from this type of work. Needed to make it more widely availableCulled the most high leverage areas from our matrix. Vetted it with diverse group of outsiders – CPRE, University folks, Goldman Sachs prize winning educators, other experts in the fieldCreated an online version – but more about that later.

As we began our work, it was apparent that this process of graduating globally competent students was complex.Many combinations of factors work together on this journeySchools emphasize ones that they see as achievable – but must move beyond – What? So What? What Next?
