These are the efforts reported by Dr. Brad Tyndall, Dean of the Instructional Office at Crowder College. As the college has enjoyed over 30% growth patterns over the last few years, Crowder has been experiencing some growing pains. In the past, our institution has seen little need to be concerned, however, with growth comes opportunity. Crowder has recently made great efforts to standardize efforts in this area of opportunity.

- Some departments have previously had very strict and formalized ways to deal with offenses, others have not.
- Handout 2 This document also gives the teacher a heads up on the fact that they need to talk to the student and not just have the Dean take care of the situation.

- This keeps track AND ensures that documentation is kept for future possibilities of lawsuit, etc.
- Reference Katie Strohl’s powerpoint on the Orientation class. The definition of plagiarism is added to the class for next semester.
- You might share things about what student activities are doing already. Solicit more ideas from group.
