Kurtis Nielsen –
Founder President
Kurtis D Nielsen was the Owner and President of Pure De-lite
Products Inc. Pure De-lite was inspired by Kurtis’ success on
a low-carb diet and the recognition of a tremendous
opportunity. Pure De-lite became a key player in creating a
brand new category of sweet treats for low-carb dieters. Pure
De-lite had $300 million in retail sales in Wal-Mart, GNC,
Walgreens, Rite-Aid, and CVS pharmacies.
He was a founder of MXI Corp. A successful network marketing
company that distributes dark chocolate with antioxidants
throughout the world.
Former owner of Pure De-lite and
Xocai Chocolate
“It's hard to argue with the health
benefits of a diet rich in vegetables and
fruits: Lower blood pressure; reduced
risk of heart disease, stroke, and
probably some cancers; lower risk
of eye and digestive problems; and a
mellowing effect on blood sugar that can
help keep appetite in check.”
“There is a direct correlation between
eating fruits and veggies and the risk of getting stroke.
In the past, we were advised to eat five to nine portions
or servings of fruits and veggies per day.
After these studies, the advice has now been revised to
seven to 13 portions or servings per day.
There is actually no limit to how much veggies you can eat per day.”
“If everyone ate three servings of vegetables a day,
we'd be living in an improved society.
Heart attacks and obesity would reduce,
health-care costs would go down”
Health and Fitness Magazine - Dr. Stone's Tips
“Try to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet.
The CDC recommends everyone eat at least five servings
of fruits or vegetables a day.
Fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants
(like leafy green vegetables, purple grapes, blueberries, cranberries, etc)
protect the body against free radicals.
Antioxidants absorb free radicals to limit "rusting" of the joints.”
Vegetables, Fruits, and Vision
“Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables also keeps your eyes in good shape
Free radicals generated by sunlight, cigarette smoke, air pollution, infection, and
metabolism cause much of this damage. Dark green leafy vegetables—such as spinach
and kale—contain two pigments, lutein and zeaxanthin, that accumulate in the eye
These two pigments appear to be able to snuff out free radicals before they can harm
the eye's sensitive tissues.”
Vegetables, Fruits, and Gastrointestinal Health
“One of the wonderful components of fruits and vegetables is their indigestible fiber.
As fiber passes through the digestive system, it sops up water like a sponge and
expands. This can calm the irritable bowel and, by triggering regular bowel
movements, can relieve or prevent constipation.”
So How Do We Get our Kids to Eat their
Fruits and Vegetables
(I’m just a big kid myself)
CONVENIENCE
Pills may not digest,
Liquids are messy and hard to carry
CONVENIENCE
“The process of chewing is a
vital component
of the digestive process”
What are Free Radicals? What are Free Radicals?
Free Radicals are damaged molecules
in our bodies
that have been linked to
200 different degenerative diseases
Where do Free Radicals come from?Where do Free Radicals come from?
• Chemicals & Toxins
• Pollution & Pesticides
• Ultraviolet Rays from Sunlight
• Exercise
What are Antioxidants?What are Antioxidants?
The presence of antioxidants in the body can "mop up" free oxygen
radicals before they damage other essential molecules
(source: Wikipedia).
An antioxidant is a chemical that prevents the oxidation of other
chemicals. An example of oxidation is rust.
Antioxidants are an enzyme or other organic molecule that can
counteract the damaging effects of free oxygen radicals in human
tissues.
Antioxidants are molecules that protect the body from free radical
damage.
ORAC Values refer to the
Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity
of a food to subdue oxygen free radicals,
as determined by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture.
By testing the ability of foods and other
compounds the USDA was able to determine
the antioxidant capability of each compound.
There are 500 ORAC
units per piece
serving. Six pieces
per day for the daily
recommended 3000
ORAC or six full
servings of fruits and
vegetables.
Food Preservatives to AvoidFood Preservatives to Avoid
•Propyl Gallate and BHA and BHT have been found by some studies to
cause cancer in rats
•Sulfites and Sodium Benzoate may cause hives, asthma, or allergic
reactions in sensitive individuals, and may adversely effect behavior in
children, particularly those with ADHD.
•Ultra Pasturization may cause a chronically overstressed immune system
and much less energy available for growth and repair
(Sodium Benzoate Preservative is Found In MonaVie, Xango and Ageless Xtra)
ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS to AvoidARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS to Avoid
The best thing to do is avoid all artificial and chemical sweetener substitutes.
They have NO food value, trick the body into thinking it is eating something
sweet, and they have by-products of harmful toxic side effects.
 Saccharin which has been determined to cause cancer in laboratory
animals.
 Sucralose stems from the fact that it was discovered while trying to create a
new insecticide.
 Aspartame has been linked to various neuropsychiatric disorders, including
panic attacks, mood changes, depression, headaches and Seizures.
Gum Drops without Artificial Sweetners,
Dyes or Preservatives
PROBLEMS AND DEBTSPROBLEMS AND DEBTS
 According to a report released last year by
Leatherhead Food International, Surrey, U.K.,
“The driving force and most innovative area
within the confectionery industry has been
health.”
 National Confectioners Association (NCA),
Vienna, VA, says, “The confectionery
market is nearly $29 billion industry,
includes non-chocolate or gummy candies
(29%)”
“More Millionaires are made by Network
Marketing than any other Home
Based Business”

The Great Depression Than In Any
Other Period.
