Last February The EXPO SpA signed an
agreement with the Italian Ministery of
Environment for the construction of the
INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOOD AND
ENVIRONMENT SECURITY (CF&E)
This research center is one of the projects
that aim to leave important resources after
the EXPO will end. This approuch is one
of the strongest and more important of this
event
General purposes of the agreement
- Balance of the CO2 emissions that the event is going to produce in
preparation and realization phases (carbn foot printing)
- Promote pilot projects in developing counties, with the purpose of
spreading culture of food and environmental health
- realize during the EXPO an archive of best practices for the
sustainable and integrated use of natural, energetic and food resources.
