Rules/Prizes
The competition is organized in three Stages.
The maximum number of Contestants admitted to Stage II is 12 (twelve).
3 (three) Contestants will be admitted to the Final Stage.
All works must be performed by memory.
The Second and the Third Stages of the Competition are open to the public.
PARTECIPANTS
Age: 16-30.
Contestants must be between the age of 16 (born before June 1, 1998) and 30 (born
in 1984) on June 1, 2014.
Contestants’ order of performance will be determined by drawing.
Contestants can choose the order of the works to perform in Stage I and II.
The Contestants admitted to the Final Stage will attend orchestral rehearsals on the
times communicated and will have the same amount of rehearsal time with the
orchestra.
Contestants can perform on their own harps or on the harps provided by the
Competition’s Organization.
JURY
The Jury is made up of renowned musicians.
One of the members of the Jury will be appointed Chairperson.
Members of the Jury may withhold their vote in the following cases:
a) if they have a family relationship with one or more contestants;
b) if they have or have had, in the year preceding the start date of the Competition,
a teaching relationship with one or more contestants.
Each member of the Jury must declare their position toward the candidates with
reference to the above.
The Jury will vote by secret ballot.
The Jury has the right to withhold any of the prizes.
The voting operations are confidential.
Jury’s decisions are confidential.
Members of the Jury shall avoid contact with active contestants during the
competition.

FIRST PRIZE
One year solo recital (debut in Italy and foreign countries).
Solo Concerto with orchestra.
Recording and publication of a CD box set.
SECOND PRIZE
Concert season solo recitals (4 recitals).
Recording and publication of a solo CD.
THIRD PRIZE
Concert season solo recitals (4 recitals).
FOURTH PRIZE
Solo recital (2 recitals).
