Indonesian government, business and civil society
groups under the ID-IGF Multi-Stakeholder Forum
plans to pioneer a new and truly multi-stakeholder
model for hosting the Global Internet Governance
Forum (IGF) in 2013.
The decision of these stakeholders signals the
support of IGF and commitment to the principles of
openness and inclusivity.
This multi-stakeholder model for hosting requires a
new approach to covering the costs of the event.

8 November 2012: Reaffirmation of Indonesia’s commitment to
host the 8th IGF by ID-IGF delegation in Baku - Azerbaijan
30 January 2013: Official Meeting with the Indonesian Ministry of
ICT, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ID-IGF and UN-DESA in Jakarta
5 February 2013: Official Meeting with the Bali local authority, ID-
IGF and UN-DESA delegation in Nusa Dua - Bali
18 February 2013: Official Meeting with the Indonesian Ministry
of ICT, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ID-IGF in Jakarta
