Description
► In this lab, you log on as Bob. You apply tags to related requirements artifacts so that you can later search
for, filter, and quickly focus on the tagged artifacts, even if they are distributed across the project.

Task 1: Create and apply tags
In this task, you create a shared tag named “Customer request” and apply the tag to feature artifacts.
1. You are in the lab environment All Projects page of the RM application (https://jazz-
server:9443/rm/web). You are logged in as bob with password bob.
2. Navigate to the JKE Banking (Requirements Management) project Artifact page. Hint: In the My Projects
section, find the JKE Banking (Requirements Management) project and click Show Artifacts.
3. In the JKE Banking (Requirements Management) project, in the navigation pane, expand Filter by Tag.
4. Click the Add New Tag icon.

5. Name the tag Customer request, select Shared, and then click OK. The new tag is in the Filter by Tag
list.
6. In the JKE Business Recovery Matters project, open the JKE Business Recovery Matters Project > Features
folder.
7. On the Artifacts page, select the following three artifacts by selecting each artifact’s check box.
Donors will receive confirmation and receipt
Requests sent in form of email
Requests sent in form of hard copy mail
8. From the Edit menu of one of the artifacts, click Apply Tags to 3 Artifacts.

9. From the list, select Customer request, and then click OK. You can also create a tag from this window.
10. To see the new tag, hover your cursor over one of the artifacts.
Tip: You can also add tags from the Artifact editor. To do so, open an artifact and click the Select Tags icon.

Task 2: Filter artifacts by tags
In this task, you filter artifacts by tags.
1. Make sure that you are at the project level and not in a folder by clearing the folder filter.

2. Expand Filter by Tag.
3. In the Filter by Tag area, from the list, select Is all of.

4. Click the Release 1 tag. How many artifacts are displayed?
5. Click the Core Functionality tag. How many artifacts are displayed now?
6. Click the Customer request tag. How many artifacts are displayed now?
