My Analysis
The teacher chose those materials/learning resources in her teaching maybe
because she thought of it many times. She considered every aspect of teaching-learning
process. She believes that those could provide the students a clearer vision about the
lesson presented. Probably, in that way, she would be able to meet the needs of her
students towards learningâunderstand quickly and easily the content of the poem. She
wanted to ensure the effectiveness of her teaching style and at the same time motivated
the learners to participate.
Sometimes, the teacher was having difficulty in Subject-Verb Agreement.
However, she can communicate. This difficulty could be remedy through successive
participation of English Seminars, self-study, and further study.
The materials/learning resources were effectively used because they were able to
apply the lessons learned through role-playing and able to answer the quiz proficiently.

My Reflections
If I would be in the place of the teacher, teaching the same lesson to the same
group of students, I would do similarly as to what the teacher had done. Itâs just because
it has a good outcome. She was able to cater the learning needs of the students. She used
effective technique and approach. She let her students experience realistic and
meaningful activities. The students really enjoyed the class discussion at the same time
learned. In addition, she was able to promote more on cooperation and less on
competition. This is why I would just do the same with nothing to change.

My Portfolio
This was very helpful because through this, the studentsâ interest toward the
lesson aroused and it served as the connection of the lesson. It was totally the best
technique in that type of lesson. I am amazed the moment she introduced the comic strip.
