Zavedati se je potrebno tudi možnosti internih zlorabe dostopa do občutljivih podatkov. Zato je za podjetja v informacijski družbi nujno, da se o zasebnosti in varnosti redno pogovarjajo in izobražujejo v vseh oddelkih, ki so vključeni v razvoj in delo z osebnimi ter ostalimi občutljivimi podatki.
