Downer Blasting Services (DBS) is just one of the businesses that falls under the
Downer Group umbrella. Their beginnings were modest, with the company
starting as a small niche player in the Hunter Valley. At the time of their first
acquisition, they had five projects and an emulsion-manufacturing facility.
Over the next twenty years they would grow to be one of the largest blasting
contractors in the Australian mining industry. We’ve had the privilege of working

geographically diverse employees stay connected.
Client Objective
Like many subsidiaries, ensuring a consistent brand image is key to showcasing
the strength of a group and Downer Blasting Services was no exception.
They needed a current website that represented them as a moving force and
adhered to the Downer Group’s comprehensive style guide.
