Zia's Islamization concept was mirrored in Iran in
shape of Islamic revolution in 1979.

Pakistan was first one that recognized Ayatollah
Khomeini’s Government.
In the same year PAK-Iran both condemned the
Soviet union intervention in Afghanistan.
From 1981 to 1984 visits of Foriegn Ministers from
both countries, and most important visit of Ayatollah
Khomenie in 1986.
