2. Mel Gibson who is the actor who
plays William Wallace is also the
director.
THE WOMAN (HIS LOVER)
In the first minuet of the death
scene of William, show a close up
of will face looking into the
camera, making use feel like he
looking at some one, but makes
the audience perhaps feel like he
looking at them before he dies.
Then Mel cut’s into a wide shot of
the crowd and everyone is facing
into the camera standing still.
A woman walk into the shot
though the crowd and move across
right to left. meaning she walking
toward someone and having her
looking into the camera suggest
she moving toward will.
WILLIAM WALLACE
3. Then it keeps going back and
forwards to close ups of will’s and
his lover’s face to make it more
emotional, but also cut to the
executioner lifting up the axe, in
slow motion linking with the music
swinging the axe down.
As this is going on edits the camera
to two more main characters
looking into the distance or at the
floor even though they aren’t there
watching they feel him coming
towards his death and make the
audience feel the same feeling.
Then we get a close up of the axe
falling then quickly cut to Wallace
hand dropping the piece of cloth
from his hand then fades into a wide
shot at a battle.
