2. Year 4/5 October 7th 2010
Families looked
at the herbs
which would
have been used
in Tudor times.
They made
nosegays and
decorated them
with the Tudor
Rose.

4. Year 1 October 12th 2010
Families made puppets
using recycled milk
containers. They will
use them to support
their castles, dragons
and princesses project.

6. Reception October 19th 2010
Mums, dads and grans joined
their children to act out the
Magic Porridge Pot story and
sample yummy porridge!

8. Year 5 November 2nd 2010
Kestrel class recorded the legend of
Theseus and the Minotaur. They
added sound effects and even
designed their own CD covers.

10. Year 3 November 9th 2010
Three families in Yr 3
enjoyed writing with quill
pens to support their Tudor
project. They discovered
how the Tudors made ink
using soot, egg white and
honey.

12. Year 2 November 16th 2010
Families in Yr 2 enjoyed
taking a close look at a
collection of “Mystery
Lamps”. How were they
used? How old do you
think they are?
