General Insurance is any insurance that is not
determined to be a life insurance. It is even called
Property and Casualty Insurance. It has been taken by
General Insurance Corporation of India through its
five subsidiaries.
General Insurance is done by four
subsidiaries companies namely National Insurance
Co. Ltd., the New Indian Assurance Co. Ltd., the
Oriental Co. Ltd. and United India Insurance Co. Ltd.
These all have independent workings and their frame
work is decided by GIC.

of any employee the sum insured
stated against his name or as declared
herein.

all claims under this policy, the total
sum insured.
3. IT is not liable to pay more than one
claim in respect of the one 1 employee.

AVIATION POLICY:
Aviation insurance is insurance coverage
geared specifically to the operation of aircraft
and the risks involved in aviation. Aviation
insurance policies are distinctly different from
those for other areas of transportation and
tend to incorporate aviation terminology, as
well as terminology, limits and clauses specific
to aviation insurance.

5. GROUND RISK HULL INSURANCE IN MOTION
(TAXIING)This provides coverage against damage when
aircraft is taxiing, not while taking off,or landing
off.
6. IN- FLIGHT INSURANCEThis provides coverage against damage during all
the phases of flight and ground operations.
