1. From the time I was an infant to about sevenyears old, my parents lugged me along on a prolonged road trip that stretched from California to Connecticut and back again; consequently, I earned plenty of life experience from this early exposure to various American cultures.
2. Hannah, my very first friend, arrived at our household shortly after I turned eight years old, and to this very day she continues to teach me valuable lessons of responsibility, love, and friendship.
3. Moving to Arkansas seven years ago changed my life by giving me a more permanent home and a more stable lifestyle than I previously experienced, and by giving me an opportunity to experience the down-home way of life.
4. My freshman year of high school was a difficult time for me, but being here exposed me to new ideas and cultures, and I learned how to interact with and accept a wide variety of people, thus making me the open-minded, accepting person I am today.
6. I met most of my current friends way back in seventh grade, and since then, they’ve taught me how to enjoy life to the fullest, helped me in my times of need, and motivated me to be the best person I can possibly be.
7. Last, but not least, my parents taught me right from wrong, encouraged me to do my best, and supported everything I ever tried to do; without them, I would not be the person who I am today.
8. McKayla Holmes "Here's to the crazy ones. Themisfits. Therebels. Thetrouble-makers. Theround heads in thesquare holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." ~ Jack Kerouac
