3. The whole idea for Snoozebaby was conceived when back in 2005
Marleen Rameckers was on a quest finding ways to comfort her
infant son who was born too early and was suffering from the KISS
syndrome. The main physical symptom of KISS is limited mobility
from the upper part of the neck of babies that can lead to
abnormalities in behavior, motor skills and general development of
the child.
Marleen discovered that the soft materials of a silk scarf or washing
tags on clothing had a calming effect on her son. It was an amazing
discovery; even though he was crying a lot, he also became calm
and relaxed simply by feeling the tags with his tiny little fingers. Not
just around bed time but also when he was awake.
This breakthrough was so wonderful that Marleen wanted to try and
buy toys, textiles and other soft fabric articles with tags for her son.
But disappointingly enough no such products where readily
available yet. Eventually Marleen decided to develop and create
products based on the tag concept herself, also wanting this
experience to be shared with other mothers around the world.
Thus, the beginning of Snoozebaby. Following an extensive market
survey, Snoozebaby’s first products were marketed within a year.
Following an instant success with mothers in the Netherlands, the
product line of Snoozebaby was quickly extended and sold to
mothers in many other countries.

4. “In our search to find a way to comfort our son we discovered how the soft
materials from labels on stuffed animals and clothing really had a soothing
effect on him. Unbelievable! By running his fingers along the labels he
became calm. This wasn't just when he was going to sleep but also when
he was awake.
This was a great discovery which we were very happy about. But where do
you buy something like this? We couldn't find any place so decided to
launch our own label-concept. Snoozebaby was born. After extensive
comparative market research in 2005 our first product was launched. “

5. The ultra-soft, functional and playful baby textile accessories are based on Snoonzebaby’s uniquely self-invented tag concept.
Each article is attached with little tags made from different fabrics and help eager babies sense of discover and learning. While
doing so, the fine motor skills of your child gets extra stimulation whilst the sense of touch is being promoted. As such
Snoozebaby products offer not only comfort and security but also joy and playfulness. Obviously, the collection Snoozebaby
aimed at both boys and girls. There are several shades of pink, from pastel to bright. The same applies for blue.

Amsterdam. All products are hand-made with the greatest
care and devotion. The company uses fabrics such as jersey,
velour, tricot as well as organic bamboo and aims to offer you
the highest quality products.

the latest EU (and US) toy directive.

7. Snoozebaby products are made of the finest fabrics such as
jersey (100% cotton) and velour (80% cotton /20% polyester).
These fabrics will absorb mum's or dad's body odor and
guarantee for a secure feeling. The famous Snoozebaby tags
differ in size, color and texture such as satin, silk, rib and velvet.
All Snoozebaby products are CE-certified and pass among others
the most recent EU toy directives (EN71) and US directive
(ASTM, reach). The company’s manufacturer in Turkey is BSCI
certified and uses OEKO-TEX certified fabrics only.

months, size 56 for 1-2 months, size 62 for 2-4 months and size 68 for 4-6 months. The fabrics are made from 90% cotton and
10% elastane. The line comprises baby suits (long and short sleeved), playsuits (long and short sleeved), trousers, hats and
