2. Feedback Response 1:
• Creative images!! Great for a front cover such as the phone one however using a medium
close up of Emily to see the emotion on her face and to make eye contact with the
audience.
• Make sure you have a price on the front cover!!
• Possibly adding a splash (a picture or big star with information inside it) will make it stand
out to the audience.
• Try different font styles! Make it creative and have fun with it!! ( dafont.com and importing
them to photoshop :) )
• The fact all of the images are different makes it a good set of drafts because you are trying
different things.
• A good start and continue with it! Just think exciting and it will get you a long way
• If you enlarge the barcode slightly you will gain the idea to the audience that it is a
magazine you need to pay for.
• Masthead is clear and takes up 1/5 of the page well done!
• Great colours if you are choosing a black and white/dark scheme; try overlapping the
writing again ( for example white writing, then write the exact same on black and overlap it
slightly it will make it stand out.
• I like how you have added the writing over the top of her left leg where there is a gap in the
image.
3. Feedback Response 2:
• The blog is really clear however I would try and show
more of your work and development leading up to the
front cover.
• Strengths: The idea is good and I like the cover stories.
• Areas for improvement: The pictures are not very
professional and the magazine looks very empty I would
try a colour scheme rather than just black type. I like the
name of your masthead however I would make it bigger
and maybe try a different font. You could also try editing
your pictures to make them more exciting and look
more professional.
4. Feedback Response 3:
• You have a good amount on your blog and I like the ideas you have
come up with that we wasn't told exactly to do like the female outfit
moodboard. I like your images on your other drafts you have done
and I feel you had a good variety to chose from as a final draft.
• I like the font you have used as it really stands out to me and
catches my eye. I love the image and the glasses the girl is wearing
as well as the casual look which is great for your magazine genre.
• I feel you could put a bit more on to the magazine as it is a little
bland at the minute as well as using more effects on your writing so
its not all the same. Also you could enlarge the barcode a little and
use a more distinct price and date for the reader but over all a good
blog and good drafts of your front cover.
5. Feedback Response 4:
• The research on the blog is very good, the amount and quality of it.
The post about the colour scheme for the magazine is also good.
Also the moodboard for the potential magazine titles is also a good
extra to the research.
• The main image for the magazine is nice, and also well composed.
• The magazine cover is quite lacking in the sense that it is missing a
date, title, price, and also a headline. The font could be more fun to
look at, instead of being basic. As well as some images, smaller
ones, could also be placed on the cover. Just to make the cover look
a bit more lively, and less plain and simple.
