1. Persuasive Essay On Internet Censorship
Information is one of the most powerful tools in the world, even going so far as to make or break
countries. There is a constant effort to censor information that puts people or countries in a negative
light. This makes the citizens of those countries blind to the truths of the government turning them
into sheep. The people shouldn't be sheep because we need them to shape the future. This bill has
the sole purpose of loosening internet censorship because it eliminates free will, causes people to
have a dangerous amount of patriotism and ultimately makes the internet a more dangerous place
than it is. Censorship of the internet keeps people from important knowledge thereby believing that
everything on the internet is true. A study was conducted to look into a handful of billionaires who
run tech companies in 24 hours and found "more than 137 examples of Silicon Valley companies
brazenly banning users, censoring content and manipulating search results to undermine the
democratization of information on the web." (PR Newswire). The people with money abuse internet
censorship in order to further their own agenda with the support of the greedy. They completely
ignore that the internet is supposed to be a resource for everyone. Internet censorship makes
countries rot because "When you have strict censorship of the internet, young students cannot
receive a full education. Their view of the world is imbalanced. There can be no true discussion
of the issues." (Ai WeiWei). The Futures of countries become full of ignorance to the reality of
the world. The only truly successful internet censorship is China's system and while it is
impressive to maintain it "China employs 2 million to monitor websites" (YaleGlobal Online).
This is an unreasonable amount to employ for any country, while feasible for the US it would cost
us one of the biggest resources in the world. This lack of free will causes citizens to have an
unhealthy amount of patriotism because of the lack of any knowledge of major screw ups as a
country. Citizens show a disturbing amount of patriotism which, while patriotism is good, too much
is not caused by people not knowing the bads of their country. China, again as an example, have
pushed censorship to the

Assignment III Outline
Problem
General Statement: "Everyone suffers some injustice in life, and what better motivation than to help
others not suffer in the same way." – Bella Thorne (Brainy Quote)
Problem Statement: People suffer from all types of matters nowadays, but it's much harder hearing
about children suffering in that way as a result of child abuse.
Definition: Child abuse is a major consequence present in almost every society in which children are
exposed to maltreatment and neglect.
Size: Statistically speaking, about 40 million children worldwide suffer abuse every year, with more
than 1,500 children dying of abuse in the United States annually. With that being mentioned, it is
probably clear that child abuse is a huge...show more content...
Wrap up: After all, it's our society and culture that shape how we think or what we believe in; that's
why child abuse is entirely against our beliefs.
Conclusion
Final Evaluation: In conclusion, this organization is a productive one that accomplishes more than
just the normal. However, this organization can be much more powerful by letting their work spread
to other projects and ideas.
Restating Thesis: tackling the issue of child abuse, the National Alliance of Children's Trust and
Prevention Funds used functional feasibility, operational feasibility, and geographical consideration
to prevent children from suffering by ensuring them with trust and prevention funds.
Recommendations: This organization should not only focus on the trust funds project, but they
should also start thinking of other projects to work on such as raising awareness through campaigns
or sending abused children to physiologists for

Thesis Statement: Climate change is natural; however, advances of human society such as
deforestation, industrialization, and the burning of fossil fuels, have increased the rate at which the

My three major sources stood out when writing my research paper on climate change. My main
source was Louis Bergeron's, "The World Can be Powered by Alternative Energy, Using Today's
Technology, in 20–40 Years, Says Stanford Researcher Mark Z. Jacobson." In this article, Bergeron

Thesis Statement
Gun control is not the solution to prevent shootings at schools. Acquisition of firearms by minors is
already illegal and is considered a crime, yet shootings by minors are still happening.
Is saddening to turn on the televisions and find news about a shooting at a school. The first thought
that comes to my mind when I see those news is, what could have been the shooter thinking when he
did that? What was happening to him/her that leads them to commit such a horrible crime?
Pro–gun control activist believe that limiting the civilian population's right to bear arms could help

8. Persuasive Essay On Self Control
First thing that I do every morning when I get up is pray and ask God for his protection and help
me to control myself where I go during the day, it could be work, school, the store etc. Self–control
is a skill we all possess yet we tend to give ourselves little credit for it. Besides, the ability to remain
calm under pressure and exercise self–control has a direct link to our performance. Moreover, when
it comes to self– control, it is so easy to focus on our failures that our successes tend to faded in
comparison. Furthermore, self–control is an effort that's intended to help one achieve a goal. One
thing that I do to exercise self–control at my in helping me achieve that goal at my workplace at
times is to mediate. Research shows that mediation train one brain to become a self– control
machine. In addition, while mediating, I pray and ask God for his protection for be mindful of
what I do and say. In that process one thing I do is take few minutes to focus on nothing but my
breathing and my sense, which improve self–awareness and my brain ability to resist negative
desires. Another thing is self–forgiveness. If someone wrong me I will ask God to forgive me first
then I will ask god to help me forgive that person. Impression management is a psychological
process by which people attempt to control how they are perceived by other people and groups.
When I'm at work, I do not work to impress anyone, I work so that God can be pleased with what I
do. I do not do eyes servant

which live far away. Social media is one of the most used types of websites by teenagers. This

The impacts of cyber bullying for the victims can be underestimated because they are
mainly psychological and not physical. Cyber bullying in its extremes has led to the death of
several teenagers. Cyber bullying leads to depression and lack of enthusiasm for life that drives
the victim to suicide in order to escape the torment. Actually, the first step of preventing and
stopping cyber bullying starts with the individual themselves. They should respect the others and
also themselves because everyone has their human rights and no one cannot destroy it. Simple
steps like using the internet appropriately and not provoking other users are very effective in
preventing cyber bullying. Using internet as the media social is fine but trying to harm people by
spreading gossip or starting rumors and stealing someone password or hacking are bad things.

11. Persuasive Essay On Self Esteem
Although self–esteem is something everyone has, it can sometimes be difficult to realize your
worth. There are many tools that can raise your awareness of your self–esteem, and journaling is
just one of them. Not only can journaling raise your self–esteem, but it can improve your overall
physical and mental health (ref #5). On the surface, journaling is a relatively simple concept. You
find a bound book you like, maybe something with a nice picture on the front, and either line or
unlined paper on the inside, whichever you prefer. Then get a quality writing pen and start putting
words on paper. While it seems simple enough sometimes people, especially those with low
self–esteem, can turn journaling into a self–deprecating exercise, or they may have trouble moving
the thoughts in their head to the page in their hands. In any event, there are a few simple guidelines
that should be followed to make journaling effective in uncovering your self–esteem. First is to
ensure that your journal remains private. You are the only one that is ever going to read it so do
not be afraid to write as you see fit. No one is grading you on punctuation, spelling, or sentence
structure so do not get caught up in the formality of writing. You can even add pictures or doodles
on your pages if it helps you express your feelings. The other guideline to follow is that you are
not allowed to bash yourself with negative writings. It is acceptable to write about your bad day
or the mistake you made at work, however, do not bash yourself with comments such as "I am so
stupid" or "I am too ugly". If these journal entries show up occasionally, especially at the start of
your writing journey, it is acceptable. Just move on and do not beat yourself up over it, but keep at
it and try to improve over time. Seek to find something good about yourself every day, no matter
how small, because every positive thought counts. If you find yourself struggling to figure out what
to write some days, there are several prompts that can get your thoughts moving in the right
direction. If today was a relatively good day, you might write about why you enjoyed your day or
things you are grateful for in your life. Conversely, if you had a particularly rough day

12. Thesis Statement On Homeschooling Students
Thesis Statement:Students should not be homeschooled because they do not take standardized tests
and do not have certain support systems that public schools have.
Body Paragraph #1
Topic Sentence: Homeschooling children does not have certain requirements that are necessary in the
public school district.
Supporting Evidence #1: In the article it say, "Public school students are tested and graded to ensure
that they understand the subject matter. For homeschooled students, however, there are no required
subjects and the statute simply speaks in terms of instruction" (Richardson,2013).
Explanation: Homeschooled students should be required to take the subjects just like public schools

So we can know our children are getting the proper curriculum. Homeschooled students should
know the same thing as our public schools children do. Also, we need to know how the child works
and if they have any progress in all the subjects that the teacher teaches. The teachers can not know
how the child is doing, if there are no tests to show it.
Supporting Evidence #2: But there's more; statics also say, "We need the conversation to change,
Coleman said. We're not denying that there are plenty of abusers in public schools, but we have a
system in place to help them. That's something homeschoolers don't have" (Stafford,2015).
Explanation: There is never a time when people go through the hardest times in life. Or want
someone to talk to. Public schools provide help for that. They have counselors for students to talk
to. They have programs for students to express their feelings and help them come out there shell. But
as for homeschooling, they do not have systems for that. Homeschooling does not provide counseling

13. Persuasive Essay On Climate Change
Climate Change
Not everyone in the world has noticed that the climate has changed throughout the years. The
negativity of climate alternation comes from pollution, weather, and temperature changes, which
will endanger the earth. However, it's possible that some people in the world are willing to help;
people are trying to decrease the chances of climate modification from raising. Even though climate
change is very bad for the earth and toward humans, no one can put an end to this problem due to
several causes which will affect us. Three different outcomes that surround the topic climate change
comes from our human activities, environment changes, and human health issues. These are the
reasons why it causes climate changes to create negative effects on the earth.
Greenhouse gases are the reason why climate change has affected the environment for many years.
Changes that can happen in the environment could be how cold is the temperature today, how much
sunlight is being produced during the day or is there enough clean water. The environment gets
affected when "the atmosphere traps the heat radiate into the Earth toward space" (NASA 1). When
that happens the environment will change the "impacts on human systems which involve food
production, local livelihoods, and health" issues (Environment and Climate Change Canada).
Different type of effects that can happen to the earth could be "sea levels, droughts, floods and
other extreme weathers, climate change ecosystem and extinction threats" (Greenpeace
International 1). Other living things such as insect, bird, or plant will be extinct or will move to
different places in the world and this will affect human health issues (National Geographic 1).
These issues will cause trouble to the earth's environment, and it's not possible to know when the
problems will turn more worst. Ice melting from the Arctic has increased, due to climate change and
it will harm the polar bears, seals, and penguins (National Geographic 1). My grandmother has
grown vegetables in her backyard, and as the climate changes, this affects the growing process of the
food. In the summer when I go outside the temperature has increased from the radiated of the sun
shining towards me.

A. Attention Getter – The uninhabitable Earth, is what we`ll soon be called. Anticipating what the
exact effects will be on mankind and other living organisms on planet Earth is tricky, however, a
continuously growing amount of evidence suggest that it will be intense. In its Fifth Assessment
Report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a group of 1,300 independent scientific
experts from countries all over the world under the auspices of the United Nations, concluded there's
a more than 95 percent probability that human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our
planet.
B. Establish Credibility – After significant research on this topic, I am more than qualified to prove
to you why humans are the main cause of climate change.
C. Audience motivation – If we don't cut greenhouse gases and other factors contributing to climate
change, it won`t just be the storms and rising seas we'd have to worry about. The heat alone could
kill off all humanity living on Earth. And yes, that means all of you and as well as myself, dead.
D. Thesis and preview – In this speech, I will discuss the human activities and testify why such
activities are the main cause of climate change. First, I will talk about the increase of carbon dioxide
in the atmosphere. Second, I will discuss how industrial agriculture damages the Earth`s climate.
Finally, I will talk about the depletion of human resources.
(Transition – I will begin by discussing the increase of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and how
humans have made it one of the main causes of climate change.
II. Body of Speech
1.Main Point – Despite the fact that a specific amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) happens naturally in
the Earth's atmosphere, there are many human activities that boost the levels of the greenhouse gases
causing it to be harmful to Earth`s climate.
A.The Burning of fossil fuels generate 85 percent of electricity worldwide. The generation of
electricity is the single largest source of CO2 emissions. Some examples of what this energy is used
for are in power plants, cars, planes, and industrial facilities. Almost all industrialized nations get the
majority of their electricity from the combustion of fossil fuels (around 60–90%) as well as the

Topic: Organ donation
Thesis Statement: Becoming an organ donor after death is not only an important decision for
yourself, but it is also an important decision for the life that you may have the power to save.
Purpose: To persuade my audience to consider becoming organ donors after death Introduction: 1.
Organ donation is a selfless way to give back to others, and to be able to make a huge difference by
giving another person a second chance at life. 2. The number of patients waiting for organs far

Also, how long a patient has been waiting for an organ is a big factor when choosing who will get
which organ * Main Point 2– Arguments against organ donation and refutations 1. People of all
ages and backgrounds can be organ donors, and if you are under 18, you must get permission from
your parent before registering as an organ donor. 2. There are many myths about becoming an
organ donor, but here are just a few: 1. If I agree to donate my organs, the hospital won't work as
hard to save my life: When you go to hospitals for treatment, doctors focus on saving your life, not
someone else's, and the doctor in charge of your care has nothing to do with transplantation. 2. Organ
donation is against my religion: Organ donation is consistent with the beliefs of most religions,
including Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, and most branches of Judaism 3. An open–casket
funeral isn't an option for organ donors: The donor's body is fully clothed, so no one can see the
markings or scars of surgery for organ donation. For bone donors, a rod is inserted where the bone
was removed, and for skin donors, the skin donation is taken from the person's back, and since the
deceased is clothed and on their back in the casket, the scar is not visible. 4. I'm too old to donate:
There is no defined cut off age for donating organs, and there have been many successful organ
donations from donors in their 70's and 80's. The decision to use the organs

Social media platforms have many benefits if it is used in the correct manner. Social media
companies are always trying to endorse the next best product and influence everyone and anyone
to use it. Some of these companies have strict policies in place in order to protect their reputation
and uphold ethical guidelines as a responsible business. Not all social media platform have these
strict ethical guidelines and tend to care only about the profit gains and obtaining a high
marketable profile. This negligent act of greed is one of the problems, which social media
platforms face. The other factors are the people who use social media platforms, especially
adolescents. Adolescents 11–18 year–olds spend over 11 hours per day exposed to electronic media
(Shapiro & Margolin, 2014). Adolescents interact with a multitude of different social media
platforms. Some have made it very convenient for these young teens to have access to social media
platforms. If the adolescents conduct themselves accordingly while they are on social media, then
there are not any issues. It is when the adolescents do not use social media as a positive, engaging
experience but deflect themselves into engaging in deviant behaviors. These irresponsible actions by
adolescents are contributing to atrocities on social media. Maybe these actions could have possibly
been prevented if the creators of social media platforms incorporated more restrictions and reporting
on their media platforms. These

Most people think highly of online classes; get to work from home, get to work on a flexible
schedule, and anyone can do it. Though no one has heard the cons of taking one. I personally took
three semesters of online classes in high school and had a horrible experience. Because of loose
scheduling, poor communication, and the focus needed, online classes are not suitable for
procrastinators. To give a better understanding, I will summarize my experience with the class. Me,
being a procrastinator, thought to myself: I'll just work on the weekends and if I don't finish the
class by the end of the school year, I can finish within the first few weeks of summer. This was a
god awful plan. Unsurprisingly, close to nothing was accomplished on the weekends. Friends would
ask me to hang out every weekend, and I did every time. Why would I want to work on my class on
the weekend when I could be having fun? I would later regret this decision. On the days I stayed
home and could have worked on the class, I completed nothing. On these days, I would tell myself:
I'll just complete what I didn't do this weekend next weekend. This rarely happened. Thus, the cycle
of getting nothing accomplished started. I disregarded my class for most of the first semester of
junior year. With only nine assignments out of eighty finished after the first semester of the school
year, I was immensely behind. I told myself to get my act together during second semester and grind

20. Thesis Statement On Sports And Child Development
TITLE: Child development
TOPIC ANNOUNCEMENT: Sports
INTRODUCTION BACKGROUND: When a child actively participates in sports, they are able to
learn life lessons in a fun and positive atmosphere.
THESIS STATEMENT: Sports contributes positively towards a child's physical, social and emotional
development.
BODY PARAGRAPH
1.Physical development
The Physical aspects of development has both physical fitness and motor skill development. A Sport
like football helps a child keep physically fit for successful results during matches and more
importantly know the importance of keeping fit hence cultivating a culture of healthy lifestyle,

Emotional development
Regardless of the result, the successful implementation of a training drill during a game boosts
self–esteem. Coaches, families and teammates can also boost a child's self–esteem by cheering and
encouraging a child's skill development. These coping skills transpose into lifetime benefits such as
reduced levels of anxiety, a more positive view on life, fewer social problems hence less chance of
giving in to social pressure, a better body image and being less likely to engage in risky behaviors
such as drug use.
It's important for a child to understand the positive impacts of competition despite a loss in a
game. Adults go through competition everyday, from getting a job after a successful interview or
missing it from an unsuccessful interview to promotion because of work well done or demotion
at work. The basics of competition taught early helps a child succeed later in life. Team Sport
equips a child to cope with competition in a friendly environment. Achieving a goal by being part
of a team will help a child gain healthy competitive skills that they can use for the rest of their lives.
Sports also help a child cope well with both a loss and a win as part of life. Learning to positively
handle both the winning and losing side of playing a sport combined with good sportsmanship is a
characteristic that carries over from childhood to

General Purpose: To Persuade
Specific Purpose: When we procrastinate and put things off, it reflects how inefficient we are in

I will do it later. I will do it tomorrow. I will start it on Monday. Oh, I'll get to it next week. If you
