We work side-by-side with leaders and management teams under pressure to deliver specific results, when time is

Scouting Reports
Leaders often need a quick check on their teams’ readiness or capacity to perform. Getting that insight from the
inside can prove to be difficult. MVP’s expertise and objectivity allow us to quickly assess what leaders may not be
able to see, or is purposely kept from them.
We call our assessments Scouting Reports. They are direct, honest and designed not to cast blame, but to
shape a productive path forward. We gather information through
interviews and observation, rather than checklists or surveys.
The process is based on our proven, flexible methodology and
the approach is customized for each client’s culture and
structure.
MVP Scouting Reports are a fast and efficient way to see what’s
really happening within the team, or to the team. We find that
failure to diagnose and respond quickly to a lack of alignment or
challenging human dynamics is the single largest unseen risk to
an executive or project leader. However, while team members
can usually see or feel what the leader cannot, they are unsure
of the root cause or are cautious about calling them out.
Scouting Reports are focused on identifying the barriers and opportunities to improved team engagement and
performance. Based on our observations and insights, our recommendations provide proven, practical and tactical
methods to drive the required change for performance excellence.

A New Breed of Offsite Leadership Meetings
Offsite leadership meetings can deliver a spirit of camaraderie, strategic alignment and a collection of actions. Too
frequently, however, a great offsite session delivers short-lived team engagement that does little to provide the
long-term performance impact desired. An MVP Offsite Program is different. Our programs are designed to deliver
meaningful business results over the immediate and long term.
Assessment
We prepare by interviewing key stakeholders, looking for gaps and opportunities in both tangible business issues
and the intangibles of teamwork. We present a Scouting Report to your team’s leader and we design our agenda
around your business drivers, team dynamics and most urgent needs.
Alignment
When working with a team, we show up as team. MVP brings professionals who specialize in facilitation and
performance coaching to lead each offsite, integrating attention to both the previously defined business drivers and
elements of high performance teamwork. MVP’s delivery approach allows us to focus on the group’s immediate and
important needs and we help move your team with speed. With our game plan specifically designed for your goals
and challenges, we use the time for maximum impact. Your team will come away from an MVP Offsite with a specific
plan to move forward and a new working model of effective teamwork.

Follow-through is essential for success and we find that leaders and teams frequently underestimate the discipline
needed to drive sustained improvement. MVP provides that structure and support. We assemble your meeting
notes, plans and commitments and distribute them with a set of clear recommendations. We stay with you to help
