• Noun is a word used as the names of

• Singular noun is a noun that denotes one
person, place, or one thing.
e.g. boy, girl, butterfly, flower, dictionary, pencil
• Plural noun is a noun that denotes more than
one person, place or more than one thing.
e.g. boys, girls, butterflies, flowers, dictionaries,
pencils.

1. The plural nouns is generally formed by adding
-s to the singular
e.g. boy → boys
pen → pens
girl → girls
pencil → pencils

14. Concrete noun is a word for a physical
object that can be perceived by the
sense such as seeing, touching , and
smelling the object.
e.g. SEEING : scenery, cloud
TOUCHING : fire, ice
SMELLING : flower, perfume
