- Good morning. Everyone.It is pleasure.I’m honored to present to you my experience with regard to cooperation.Before everything, I appreciate my boss giving this time.
- This presentation is in 4 parts.“Who am I” will give you my introduction.Secondly, you’re going to look at my IT development story.Third, talking about education cooperation.Finally, I want to tell you what I want to share.
- My Korean name is Ji-woong ChoiIn Rwanda, I’m using this local name. RukundoThis was made by my dear friend of Rwanda.And My job is doing about all of ICT fields in Rwanda.
- OK Let’s dive into my development story.The first one is KIE Homepage.
- This is main layout of KIE homepage.There are 3 main features. AJAX technology for user experience, Web standard to run most of internet browsers. Social network to be close user.
- there are 5 rest features.RSS feeds. RSS stands for Really Simple Sindication.RSS feeds can be read using software. So any appliance to be able to use internet such as PC, Tablet PC, smartphone access recent information.
- Some people are experienced in the instant search in Google.When we’re typing keyword in google search bar regardless of pressing enter key, the result is shown instantly.This is instant search.
- Easy managementSite administrator can write, edit, delete an information easily.
- In fact, We can not play fast internet service in Rwanda. In this site, we can’t find any heavy contents like flash and silverlight movie.And maximumly reduces code length.So, we can explore this site fast.
- Last one is simple design.Incredibly simple.
- OK Let’s dive into my development story.The first one is KIE Homepage.
- What’s money?this is current library system subscription cost.
- We have already setup new library system. It’s called “Koha”From next year, KIE doesn’t pay for any money. It will be saved the expenses.

- Rwanda development board project.We launched a digital library to be used in all the 30 business development centres.There are many strength.I doesn’t need physical boundary.and we can access it infinitely.And easy information accessible and retrieval, and added value.I’m sure that it will impact the development of a knowledge based economy in the Rwanda.
- We made this application on ORTPN in RDB.this is Mobile app for Android OS.I give it a name.This is called “The Thousand Hills”
- The target is for foreigner.It consist of Compass function, 3D gallary, Social network.
- This is virus prevention campaign.It built desktop background on computer lab in any agency.It gives computer user knowledge about virus prevention. So it will help them using computer.
- I’ve teach level 5 and 3 computer science students.
- I’ve teach level 5 and 3 computer science students.
- Efficiently.I’d like to share 2 solution in this time.
- What is this symbol’s meaning?What I want to talk about is “Hurry up”.“Hurry up” is a symbol of main Korean traits.it has various merits and demerits.
- Actually, the worldclasscampany like the Samsung, LG electronics make the best use of this ‘hurry up’ Korean traits.But, in this traits, has many weak points.In this time, What I want to say is not fitting into our traits.
- Just give us rapid Feedback.if you don’t give us reaction to our doing, we can be exhausted.There are many methods giving us feedback.Through calendar, Document, and e-mail and so on.
- What do you think about smart work.Commonly, smart work defines making a better work using mobile appliance like a smartphone, tablet pc.But, we don’t have mobile appliance. But we can realize smart work.
- Because, the key point of smart work is sharing information more easy.As you know that, Korean speak Korean.And Rwandan people speak Kinyarwanda mainly. So, communication problem can be happened.Actually, communication problem can be happened on same country people.So, Most of famous company are using e-mail working.If most workers doesn’t have a e-mail, don’t worry about it.There are various Sharing document methods
