1. Mrs. Kaiserman’s Second Grade Information
Mission Statement
My mission is for each child to feel inspired, empowered, and
valued everyday of the year. I will instill confidence in my
students by treating them with respect, believing in them, and
helping them experience success. Each member of my class
will feel safe to make mistakes and be empowered to keep on
trying. My students will have a “Yes I Can” attitude where all
ideas are celebrated and explored. I will build a community
inside my classroom where there is support, encouragement,
and passion. The citizens in our class will have high
aspirations for themselves and accept nothing less. My
students will feel valued for their diversity and be proud of
who they are and what they are becoming.
Mrs. Kaiserman
My name is Heidi Kaiserman. I am thrilled to be your child’s
second grade teacher. I have been teaching at Trailside for five
years and prior to that, eight years at Jeremy Ranch. I love
touching children’s lives and watching them grow both
academically and emotionally. I graduated from the University
of Utah and received a Master’s Degree with an emphasis in
Reading from Westminster College. I am fortunate to have two
daughters who attend Trailside. Maddie is going into third
grade and Ana is going into fourth grade. My husband, Scott,
flies for an Air Ambulance Company. We love this area and all
that Park City has to offer. This will be a fabulous year and I
hope you are looking as forward to this school year as I am.

Homework
Your child will be getting a clear plastic baggie with their homework
folder in it. You are to sign the front of the clear baggie suggesting you
have seen what was in it and then have your child return only the baggie
Tuesday. Homework is due on Friday returned in the homework
folder that will be provided. They also will have a sheet to color and a
place for you to sign for reading each night which will also be part of
their homework. They typically have one sheet of math and language
arts homework, reading each night, and studying spelling words.
