Rule number 1: PRESENCE
Are you connected? The power of NOW … Be in absolute presence. No shortcuts, no excuses. Avoid
connection killer such as smartphone. Don’t be the person who constantly checking his iPhone … instead
of interacting with other or your inner self. Turn of your phone as well as your brain and listen.
Exercise(s):
• Feel your body (bottom | top);
• Make eye contact;
• Listen deeply, softly, intently;
• Inspire 3 seconds, expire 6 seconds;
• Say no to your phone and apps;

Rule number 2: POWER
Presence is not enough to dial up your charisma, you need personal power (trust) and no need to be a
"Terminator”. Quick way: use body language techniques and move like the best (stand tall, breathe
deeply, smile). As Amy Cuddy tells us: we need to fake it until we become it. It’s not a question of
manipulation but to slightly trick ourselves so we can by time express most authentic version of ourselves.
Another red bull booster, recall a prior success: visualise it, feel it intensely … and action.

How to make a killer first impression?
• Skill 1: use your hands to build trust. Keep your hands visible and never skip a handshake.
• Skill 2: be a winner. Confidence is more important than professional’s reputation, skill set or history.
So stand like a winner, look like a winner and interact like a winner.
• Skill 3: engage eye contact for building trust. Gaze to produce connection.

Rule number 3: WARMTH
If you want to fire up your charisma Presence and Power are not enough you need to add up warmth for
the secret sauce! If the person with whom we’re interacting doesn’t think we’ll use that power for their
good … no charisma at all.
Do you know that the best keep secret for leadership it’s a four letter word: LOVE so value it! How?
Just truly care about the other person, don’t judge see potential. Have a sense of goodwill for them. Want
what’s best for them.

• Gratitude: for what are you grateful? Count your blessings
• Goodwill: find 3 things you like about the person you want to feel good will
• Compassion: start with yourself first and radiate it
