Context: Fire vs. Paint



What's on the surface is not always as it appears. Take the above image of an orange
flame, for example. Our impulse it to call it, fire.

However, as we pull back we see a picture mounted on
a wall of a museum and realize that the image we called
fire is actually a close-up image of the fireplace in the
painting ‘Peasant Woman by the Fireplace' by Vincent
