1. 6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this
product?
Filming
• While we were filming we discovered the
importance of having a tripod when filming
particular shots where the ground was uneven
and for panning shots.
• We learnt to use different camera shots such as
close ups and mid shots to keep the film
engaging for the audience.
• We found out that it was necessary to film
scenes a number of times as even if it may
appear perfect we may find problems when it
comes to editing.
Editing
• We learnt to create titles for our film on the two
programs LiveType and Motion ( we found
motion more advanced and suitable for our
film).
• We originally learnt to create music to create
our music for our film using loops on
Garageband, however we decided to produce
on reason as it allowed us to create unique
piece of music.
• While editing on final cut pro we learnt how to
use transitional effects to create a much more
seamless film.
• We also learnt how to add sound clips into our
film to create a bigger impact, an example of
this is the alarm.
