This document lists the strengths and weaknesses of three potential film ideas: a party scene filmed in a trailer, a found footage horror film shot in a house, and a sports drama about an aging boxer. It concludes that the horror film idea ("Flat 4") should be taken into pre-production because it will be the most enjoyable to film due to its good narrative, familiar genre, and potential to look good with proper editing despite the least amount of hassles compared to the other two ideas.

Good Narrative. Would be hard to find an
older actor (50+).
Low cost for production. Don’t think we could use a
proper boxing gym to film.
Besides a boxing gym, all the
other locations would be
easy to film.
A lot of ‘extras’ to be in the
trailer.
Sports films are genre
specific so that could shorten
are target audience.

4. FINAL CHOICE
I think Flat 4 should be taken into preproduction stages because I think it will
be the most fun to film and the least amount of hassle. It has a good
narrative and if edited properly could look really good. Further more horror
is my favourite genre of films and I watch a lot so I am familiar with the
trailers for this specific genre.
