2. ï§ My trailer does not challenge real media
texts because it follows the codes and
conventions of an action trailer. I have
used the same music style as trailers such
as TMNT and GOTG. I knew to use this
type of music from my research and
planning stage but I had to go through a
lot to find ones that were copyright free.
This music is used to hype up the
audience for an action movie as this
movie was intended for anyone who likes
action and parkour.
ï§ The mix of the clips I used to construct
this trailer were ones that we filmed all
over London to make the narrative look
like it was taking place in a lot of places, as
the storyline says that Protocol 10 would
be a procedure to taken by the
government that could effect the whole of
London and maybe even the whole UK.
ï§ Even with the L-cuts that I used was a
mimic of most action trailers that would
do the same thing, and from my research,
I knew that the trailer that had L-cut
didnât have many intertitles or even,
sometimes, at all.
An establishing shot
of New York from
TMNT as I have for
London...
Action shots as I
have for Hussain...
This is the movie trailer for
Tracers and I have realised
after filming that I have done
the same type of shot as they
did. But considering that they
are both parkour film then this
was very possible.
