60. Harry Wood's interest in internet collaboration and web2.0 technologies lead him to the OpenStreetMap project three years ago, as a hobbyist mapper, and as an increasingly passionate evangelist, community coordinator and developer. Turning this hobby into a profession, he worked at CloudMade developing core features of the OpenStreetMap website and working on products and services which help developers use OpenStreetMap data. In 2010 he joined placr.co.uk to develop their new geo API products, as well as operating as a part-time freelance OpenStreetMap consultant, and humanitarian OpenStreetMap activist. He was also on the organising team for WhereCamp EU http://harrywood.co.uk These slides are (of course) freely re-usable under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 License Map images cc-by-sa2 OpenStreetMap.org contributors. “Pale-dawn” map styles by CloudMade, OpenCycleMap.org, OpenPisteMap.org, öpnvkarte.de Thanks also to thedesignsuperhero.com for free clipart
