History:
   The story of ”NIRMA LTD” is not only about the detergent powder, it is
    much more than it.
   Mr.Karashanbhai K. Patel who is the founder of this big Organisation,
    who is the son of small farmer and qualified science graduate and
    was worked as junior chemist in government laboratory.
   He was making detergent in the 100 sq.ft. backyard of his home using
    brand hands and buckets. Once mixture is ready used to pack in
    polythene bag and was selling door to door at 3 Rs. Per kg.
   The product become well accepted in the consumer
    community and the rest is known to one and all this is
    “NIRMA LTD” of today.
   NIRMA is private limited company and was converted into
    public limited company in 18 November 1993.

    year 2003-04.

   As on 9001 : 2000 company awarded by TUV – Germany , Thailand .

Time Keeping System
   Time keeping is just to record their employee’s entry and exit
    records.
   Working Hours:
                          A shift – 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
                          B shift – 3:00 am to 11:00 pm
                          C shift – 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
                         D shift – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
   In this shifts A,B,C shifts are for workers and employee’s while as D
    shift is for Manager’s.
Human Resource management
   The term human resource means the total knowledge, skills,
    creativity and abilities of organization. Human resource are the most
    important assets of an any organization.
   Recruitment :
   Reason : Death ,Retirement , Promotion , Transfer , social reason ,
    others
   Stages :
            (1) Manpower requisition
            (2) Manpower approval
            (3) Filling up vacancy
Selection
     The candidates have applied for the job have to pass through three
      kinds of interview.
           (1) Written test
           (2) Personal interview
           (3) Interview at the head office
     Training and Development:
     There are main four training methodology
             (1) In-plant training for new experienced employees
             (2) Induct training
             (3) Candidates appointment as training
             (4) Safety function training
Wages and salary
   Wages and salary paid to workers by his performance, skills,
    and time period monthly salary is given on 7th of month from
    HDFC bank.
   EMPLOYEE INFORMATION:-
   There are more than 15000 Employee and 500 professional
    Employees.

     Marketing can be defined as the process of exchange of
      goods and services.

      Nirma sells these products in the market under the brands
      Nirma and Nima.

                Toilet soap – 3 million piece
                Detergent powder – 6.2 million
                Lime fresh toilet soap – 17 million
