Pandora’s Box
Pandora’s Box possesses a variety of underlining morals. Some are
deception, curiosity, revenge, and evil. That is one reason why I picked this
poem. It is able to adapt to several different areas of content. I can use it in
teaching all of the life lessons that are associated with deception, revenge
and curiosity. In addition, I can use it to find out what the students views
are on disease, greed, death, cruelty and war (the evils released from
Pandora’s Box). I can turn it into an art project where the students create
their own Box of secrets. I can use it in history to teach about the Greek
gods. I really enjoy this story and it is able to adapt to a variety of places.
Consequently, I can use it in all of the grade levels.
