verbatim that someone else posted
MT is a modified tweet; it is when someone RT’s
something but they modify it slightly
When you Reply to someone’s tweet or mention

Twitter Basics
10. Make sure your profile is as complete as possible
with your name, company, title, etc.
Add blog posts that you’ve authored to your
profile, so when people check you out, they’ll see
your posts on your company and personal sites
(this could directly drive traffic and increase leads)
Discussions are not easily searchable, so the best
way to get involved is to sign up for relevant
groups and then follow their discussions
Connect with people once you’ve established a
relationship with them (this will grow your
personal network as well as the audience of people
who will see the content you share
If you have a company page or group, be sure to
subscribe to that and participate in it, too

12. Yes, it is scary, but ultimately it will benefit you and
your company by expanding both networks and
driving more traffic to your sites
Keep it classy, and keep it you
Consider whether it makes sense to tweet about
politics or religion! It is still your personal account,
but make sure you are respectful and thoughtful in
all your interactions
Do tweet about your personal interests; you are
human, and you want your followers to know that
Don’t be scared to interact with people you don’t
know; that’s kind of the point!
