2. CW1 - Photography
My concept for photography was to combine Supercities and Nature
together. My original idea was to capture the ’change of time’
showing empowerment of women in the work force. However when it
came to actually going out and capturing the image. I found out that
most of my pictures were mainly of men. Perhaps because of the
location shot I chose?
3. Location Shots
I will be taking photos out in the street and mainly
focusing in the areas where it is normally busy to get the
best quality of photos. The two locations that I have
decided to shoot my photographs is; London Bridge and
Canary wharf. These areas are most likely to be busy
around peak times as this is where the business people
will be
8. Evaluation
• Showed varieties of photos but still making them link
together
• Shot with natural lighting, not using flash
• With editing I was able to adjust brightness/contrast to
my own preference
• I didn’t stick to my original plan, capturing women
• However, I was still happy with the photos I have
taken. They showed a range of action shots of people
working.
9. CW1 – Documentary Video
I have chosen to create a video that links with super cities.
Something that was not too obvious to do and narrow the
specifications of ‘Super cities’. Instead of doing the cliché
video of how busy the streets of London is, i wanted to specify
my video to a specific part of the Super city. As by living in the
big capital of London I realised by travelling a lot, that there are
a lot of buskers around the city. We see them everywhere we
travel from the underground to the main attractions of the city
10. Buskers In London
Researching in depth the background field of your production is a vital process in
producing anything. Therefore because I wanted to film buskers in London I
researched more about them and where the typical place they normally perform in.
I searched typical ideas of buskers performing on Youtube, which I can get ideas
from and also the video style they edited it.

Another inspiration I grabbed ideas from was from the music video of Jessie J.
She made two different versions of her music video. This one related more to her
lyrics as its her performing in public, inspiring others to be ‘who they are’.
12. Evaluation
• Couldn’t fit all my footage in
• I have used a variety of editing techniques, making the
video flow well.
• Used original audio, from one of my footage
• To develop – I could have a story behind it, perhaps
interviewing artist and their background. Telling a
story.
