  paperwork	
  to	
  seek	
  the	
  office	
  of	
  
Commissioner	
  for	
  the	
  2nd	
  District	
  of	
  Lee	
  County.	
  
"After	
  careful	
  thought	
  and	
  prayer,	
  my	
  family	
  and	
  I	
  have	
  decided	
  that	
  I	
  will	
  seek	
  the	
  2nd	
  District	
  Seat	
  
on	
  the	
  Board	
  of	
  Commissioners,”	
  deLambert	
  said.	
  	
  "It	
  is	
  my	
  hope	
  to	
  represent	
  the	
  people	
  of	
  Lee	
  
County	
  and	
  bring	
  common	
  sense	
  solutions	
  to	
  the	
  Board.”	
  	
  	
  
Alongside	
  his	
  family,	
  Chris	
  filed	
  papers	
  today	
  at	
  the	
  Lee	
  County	
  Board	
  of	
  Elections.	
  North	
  Carolina	
  
Senator	
  Ronald	
  Rabin	
  (R-­‐Harnett)	
  stood	
  by	
  his	
  side	
  to	
  make	
  it	
  official.	
  	
  
“I	
  am	
  honored	
  to	
  have	
  Senator	
  Ronald	
  Rabin	
  join	
  me	
  this	
  morning,”	
  deLambert	
  said.	
  “Senator	
  
Rabin	
  has	
  a	
  proven	
  record	
  of	
  fighting	
  for	
  the	
  12th	
  District	
  and	
  our	
  State	
  and	
  I	
  am	
  humbled	
  to	
  have	
  
his	
  endorsement.”	
  	
  
Chris	
  served	
  20	
  years	
  in	
  the	
  United	
  States	
  Army	
  around	
  the	
  globe,	
  including	
  combat	
  deployments	
  
in	
  support	
  of	
  Operation	
  Desert	
  Storm	
  and	
  Operation	
  Joint	
  Endeavor	
  (Bosnia).	
  	
  As	
  a	
  veteran,	
  he	
  has	
  
lived	
  his	
  life	
  defending	
  the	
  U.S.	
  Constitution	
  and	
  plans	
  to	
  continue	
  the	
  fight	
  for	
  the	
  people	
  of	
  
Broadway	
  and	
  Sanford.	
  	
  
Chris	
  had	
  a	
  successful	
  second	
  career	
  in	
  real	
  estate	
  before	
  taking	
  his	
  current	
  position	
  as	
  Director	
  of	
  
Marketing	
  &	
  Business	
  Development	
  for	
  Sanford's	
  most	
  treasured	
  attraction,	
  the	
  Temple	
  Theatre.	
  	
  
Chris	
  prides	
  himself	
  on	
  being	
  a	
  problem-­‐solver	
  and	
  hopes	
  to	
  bring	
  a	
  common	
  sense	
  approach	
  to	
  
the	
  Board	
  of	
  Commissioners.

Chris	
  and	
  his	
  wife,	
  Nejla,	
  reside	
  in	
  Sanford.	
  	
  They	
  share	
  seven	
  children	
  and	
  a	
  granddaughter.

  Board	
  of	
  Directors	
  at	
  Carolina	
  Animal	
  Rescue	
  &	
  Adoption	
  (CARA),	
  and

Chris delambert files for couny board of commissioners

  • 1.                                   FOR  IMMEDIATE  RELEASE                                                                                                                          Contact:  Hannah  Salem  (225)  329-­‐3497   February  27,  2013            Hannah@SalemStrategies.com       CHRIS  DELAMBERT  FILES  FOR  COUNY  BOARD  OF  COMMISSIONERS     SANFORD,  NC  -­‐  Chris  deLambert  has  made  it  official  and  filed  paperwork  to  seek  the  office  of   Commissioner  for  the  2nd  District  of  Lee  County.   "After  careful  thought  and  prayer,  my  family  and  I  have  decided  that  I  will  seek  the  2nd  District  Seat   on  the  Board  of  Commissioners,”  deLambert  said.    "It  is  my  hope  to  represent  the  people  of  Lee   County  and  bring  common  sense  solutions  to  the  Board.”       Alongside  his  family,  Chris  filed  papers  today  at  the  Lee  County  Board  of  Elections.  North  Carolina   Senator  Ronald  Rabin  (R-­‐Harnett)  stood  by  his  side  to  make  it  official.     “I  am  honored  to  have  Senator  Ronald  Rabin  join  me  this  morning,”  deLambert  said.  “Senator   Rabin  has  a  proven  record  of  fighting  for  the  12th  District  and  our  State  and  I  am  humbled  to  have   his  endorsement.”     Chris  served  20  years  in  the  United  States  Army  around  the  globe,  including  combat  deployments   in  support  of  Operation  Desert  Storm  and  Operation  Joint  Endeavor  (Bosnia).    As  a  veteran,  he  has   lived  his  life  defending  the  U.S.  Constitution  and  plans  to  continue  the  fight  for  the  people  of   Broadway  and  Sanford.     Chris  had  a  successful  second  career  in  real  estate  before  taking  his  current  position  as  Director  of   Marketing  &  Business  Development  for  Sanford's  most  treasured  attraction,  the  Temple  Theatre.     Chris  prides  himself  on  being  a  problem-­‐solver  and  hopes  to  bring  a  common  sense  approach  to   the  Board  of  Commissioners.     "I  am  deeply  engaged  with  the  people  of  Lee  County  and  I  hope,  as  your  County  Commissioner,  I   can  continue  my  efforts  to  stimulate  our  economic  development,  and  continue  to  gather  ideas  to   lead  Lee  County  in  the  right  direction,"  said  deLambert.    "You  deserve  responsible,  proven   leadership,  and  I  will  provide  it.    I  am  running  for  the  Board  of  Commissioners,  and  I  humbly  ask  for   your  support."   Chris  and  his  wife,  Nejla,  reside  in  Sanford.    They  share  seven  children  and  a  granddaughter.    Chris   currently  sits  on  the  Board  of  Directors  at  Carolina  Animal  Rescue  &  Adoption  (CARA),  and  is  the   Chairman  of  the  Sanford  Mural  Art  Committee.     ###
