2.  We are filming all but one scene at school, Ratcliffe
College. This includes, the pool, woods and school
corridor:

3.  The scene we are filming out of school is at Liv
Back’s house, this will be the scene when she
wakes up from her nightmare:
 Liv’s mother, Ali will watching over us during
the shoot.

4. We want to use the school’s pool for
the drowning shots. We think that
this would be suitable because its
practical for all of our cast and its
very well lit due to the exterior of the
building being like a conservatory
and it therefore lets in a lot of light.
As we plan on filming on a weekend,
this means that the pool is likely to
not be used during the day.

5. We are planning on using
the wooded area on
Ratcliffe’s grounds.
This is suitable for our
film as we wanted to
heighten the main
character’s feeling of
isolation. Also if we film
close to sun set we can
get really nice natural
light coming through the
trees.

6. As we want our film to be
relatable, we thought that the
school corridor would be best
suited. We want to film people
walking down the corridor so
the best time to do this would
be during break or lunch at
school.

7. We thought that
Liv’s room would be
suitable for the scene
when the main
character wakes up
from her nightmare
because it’s quite
girly and pink which
is stereotypical for a
girl’s room and
therefore appealing
for our audience.

8.  There are more risks when at the pool because
the floor will be wet so we need to watch out
for not getting any equipment wet or damaged
and we need to be careful when walking
around the edge of the pool.
 In the woods there will be risks of tripping
over branches so we need to wear sensible
footwear to prevent anyone getting hurt.

9.  As we are an independent film company on a
low budget, we feel that all of there locations
are perfect for us because they are all easy
access and we don’t have to pay anyone for
filming in these areas.
