1/ Who are we ?
TRATEX Consulting ‘be a leader and liberate the language ’is a company which is
specialized in multi-languages services. Founded in 2014 by youth power; two Tunisian
graduates from the High Institute of Human Science of Tunis, it is a major company of its
kind in Tunisia and North Africa. Having been built on solid foundation with an initial
investment, the company's financial base allows it to differentiate itself from other traditional
translation agencies and to offer a variety of first class services where linguistic knowledge is
combined with leading edge technology and diversified cultural orientations, thus allowing
the company to position on different markets and different scales. These scales include
subtitling, audiovisual, interpreting, localization, content authoring markets, etc.
TRATEX Consulting is taking advantage of a good technological infrastructure in Tunisia
that paves the way to easy access to the global market therefore we are benefiting of an
inexpensive high quality resources and advancement which give us a key competitive
advantage towards success.

TRATEX Consulting symphony is played by a team that is both highly qualified and flexible.
Its network of language specialists, located mainly in Tunisia, crosses however the local
borders to meet the specific needs of our customers and ensure an excellent stimulus towards
an outstanding quality of translation and edition. This “global” network brings together a
permanent team of translators, interpreters and collaborators to ensure the continuity and
fluidity of the translation services into a wide range of languages as well as a team of
freelance translators and collaborators to handle one-time projects. This steadily growing
global team of translators will ensures an organizational structure, rapidity and an
identification to the invisible “ what's between the lines, the mysterious implications.”

3/ Inspirations and Services:

been borne across the world, we are translated men. It is normally supposed that something
always gets lost in translation; I cling, obstinately to the notion that something can also be
gained” Selman Rushdie, Imaginary Homelands: Essays and Criticism 1981-1991. These last
words said by the author Selman Rushdie are our core value.
Translation:
TRATEX Consulting isn't just an ordinary full service translation and localization agency.
Not only do we provide the highest quality of translation, we aim to arm our clients with all
the necessary tools to reach their company's global goals. “Translation is a kind of
transubstantiation; one poem becomes another. You choose your philosophy of translation
just as you choose how to live” said Anne Michaels, Fugitive Pieces. More or a less
translation is a philosophy of life for us. We have, also, signed agreements with certified
translators to be also able to meet the needs in terms of notarized and certified translation.

Consecutive, simultaneous and whispered interpreting, at international conferences and during
visits to factories, business meetings, legal assistance and so on TRATEX Consulting is
providing of course as any other consultant agency . The specificity of our agency and the
innovation is that we have an “emergency” group which will be ready and waiting just for
your phone call to come and rescue you from a non-planned meeting where you really need a
language that you do not master.

Subtitling:
Whether it's a one-page personal document or a multi-volume set of technical users guides or
even any kind of visual scenes (like films, soap Operas and video screenings…), we deliver
an accurate, culturally-appropriate translation in the right language, in the right format, at the
right time. Thanks to document translation by at least two linguists using our rigorous in-
house quality control standards and in a variety of formats, this service can better be done
easily.
Localization:
The rules have changed. Customers around the world are now inter-connected and in control.

According to the General Director of the National Center of Translation in Tunisia Mr
Mahjoub Mohamed, the prices are the following:

a chef d’oeuvre is what matters for us. Moreover, TRATEX Consulting Services “Be a Leader
and Liberate the Language” rates for translation are per-word rates (source language)
depending on the combination of languages involved in each translation task. Significant
discounts are applied for large projects and on websites too.
