3. Objective:
After reading this presentation one can discuss about
registration of a private school.
One can able to understand that how a private school
can be registered.
5. Important Terminologies :
Ordinance:
Ordinance Means, Ordinance 1984 under which a private
school may be registered. It is also called promotion and
regulation ordinance 1984 .
Private School Or Institute :
It means a school or institute which is supported or managed
by private individuals rather than by the govt.
6. Registering Authority :
It means an person appointed by the Government as a
registering authority.
It may be in case of school ,the director of school education of
the region or in the case of technical & vocational Institute,
the director of technical education
District Committee :
It means a committee consists of at least 5 members which
give report to registering authority after verification & All
inquiries about the school.
7. Registration Procedure
You Can Register A Private school through
following procedure….
Step 1:
Take Form–A
You can make an application for registration of a private
school on Form-A
Step 2:
Fill it, You must give All Details which are required on Form-A
8. Step 3:
After filling Form-A you must be submitted it to the
registering authority.
After Receiving Application Form Registering Authority
will forward it to the District Committee, which will visit
building of school & after inquiry it will submit its
Report with its recommendations to the registering
authority within 60 days of receipt of the application
under subsection (1).
Then registering authority will determine the report after
considering the report of the district committee & after
further enquiry as may be necessary, if satisfied with
report it will issue registration certificate in Form-B

10. Renewal Of Registration
The renewal of registration fee of an
educational institute shall be equal to one
month tuition fee charged by the school at
its highest class, the fee to be deposited with
The State Bank Of Pakistan
The Registration may be renewed after five
year if building owned by owner, and if
building of school is on rent then registration
may be renewed after ten years.
11. Condition for registration
There are some conditions for registration of a
private school:-
i) fees and other charges levied, shall not be fixed
or raised beyond reasonable limits.
ii) Essential record and registers shall be maintain
in a proper manner as provided in schedule II.
iii) The institution shall notify through prospectus,
before the commencement of each academic
year.
12. vi) The incharge and the staff of an institution bear
good moral character, and should be solvent.
v) the facilities allowed to the student at the time
of admission shall not subsequently withdrawn
or reduced

13. Cancellation of registration
A certificate of registration granted under sec 6 may be
cancelled by registering authority…
If there is contravention of any of the provision of
ordinance 1984 or the rules
Or if incharge of the school fulfill not necessary
requirements.
(if there is minor default which can be removed, registering
authority provided an opportunity may be given to remove
the default within a time specified in order if it is not
removed within specified period , cancellation shall follow
and school has ceased to exist.)
