3. WHO RAISED ME?
My mom Christine was born and raised in Philadelphia
with a large catholic family both Irish and Italian.
My dad Scott was born in Ohio and was raised in
Socorro, New Mexico with a small family and
community.
I am a first generation college student.
Both my mom and dad started working full time right out of
college.
My parents come from very hard working families and
have created a success for themselves without a college
degree.
This has helped me want to succeed even more for my
parents so that I can give them help in return.

AND VALUES?
Have strength and courage in everything
that you do no matter the circumstance.
Be true to your own self.
Never judge a book by its cover because
you never know what is held in the inside.
Whatever you give is what you will
receive.

5. WHAT IS MY IDENTITY AS A
FUTURE TEACHER?
All of my core values go hand-in-hand with becoming the best teacher to great
minds.
I have worked with children since 2010 which is 9 years of experience and it has
only gave me more of a reason to be teacher.
I believe that all students learn best in a natural, positive, and communal way
using structural lessons.
I believe that being nurturing is most beneficial no matter how old your students
are.

A goal as a teacher, is to change the
attitude of school, where students
can’t wait to come to school motivated
and ready to learn.

As a teacher, I want to be able to use
curriculum in an effective and creative
way while using group interactions
and individual engagements.
