These ads relets to dominance. There is major trait in entrepreneur personality that he wants to
be dominated personality. He wants to look superior so TV ads about these cars convey the
message to them that if you want to be superior then have you Ferrari.
Question no 2
In this case study the personality traits of entrepreneurs are defined. There is a dark side of
entrepreneurs as well as a bright side. They are the wealth seeker because they never stop doing
best and different. To answer the question about personality traits describing wealth seeker, Dr.
Locke identifies the essential psychological traits of these and other great businessmen from the
19th and 20th centuries. He explains "we can see efficacious people at work, people who use
their own independent judgment and who—through passion, tenacity, and ability—succeed
against all odds. There are some traits of highly successful entrepreneurs.
 Entrepreneurs search for winning at all cost.
 They have amazing abilities to pick risks because they are not risk averse but risk takers.
 There is a high desire among them to dominate themselves.
 They focus on doing better than everyone else.
 They take full responsibility for decisions and make it work.
 Entrepreneurs are more self-centered, temperamental, authoritarian and unable to let go
and groom competent successor.
 Have strong desire for wealth creation and sometime become more aggressive for it.
 They want to achieve a level of success where they can have influence.
 Entrepreneurs are cognitively differentiated. They see the picture as a whole and do not
follow the reasoning. They think beyond the logic.
 They find the people with outstanding abilities and keep them engage.
 There is a drive in them which always motivate them to take initiatives.
 Entrepreneurs have active mind, broad vision, egoistic passion, confidence, virtue and
competence.
Question no 3
There are different demographic characteristics among entrepreneurs. They belong to different
age group, different background and culture. Some don’t have any noble family background
initially. Various demographic characteristics of entrepreneurs are responsible for expansion of
successful entrepreneurship. The factors like age, social class, role model or status, income,
sibling position or birth order, entrepreneurs' general level of education, previous experience and
occupation, religion, marital status, family size etc. have a bearing on the success of the
entrepreneurs. There are some common characteristics among entrepreneurs but some are quite
different. May be some entrepreneurs are at same stage but some are at different. Family
background is also another factor which differentiate entrepreneurs from others entrepreneurs.
