This document summarizes a user study of the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary electronic dictionary (CALD) conducted with 75 7th grade students in India. The study examined how comfortable students felt using the e-dictionary, their motivation for use, and which features attracted them most. Data was collected through individual surveys where students used e-dictionary features and provided feedback. Results were analyzed statistically and presented in tables and graphs addressing topics like grammar use, helpfulness of the e-dictionary, preferred features, and openness to sharing the e-dictionary with others.
