2. Kurt Cobain I chose Kurt Cobain because he was the lead singer of Nirvana. This is one of my favorite bands. I believe in what he wrote and the things he did for music. He has been influential on many artists today.

5. Cobain’s Death On April 8th , 1994 Kurt Cobain was found dead in an apartment in Washington, after escaping rehab a few days before. The coroner’s report said that he died April 5th, 1994 of apparent suicide. He left a suicide note saying to his wife, Courtney Love, to take care of their daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, and that they were better off without him. Every day on the anniversary of his death thousands of people come to his home town to honor him.
