After a star studded appearance in Cannes and Monaco. Red Scarf Equestrian
are now firmly on the map as a leader in luxury equestrian luggage.
Red Scarf Equestrian is a magnificent, luxury equestrian/lifestyle collection of
luggage and travel bags that have been in the works for the past 3 years and
Eco consciousness is a big part of the influence on the creation of this collection.
Red Scarf use Italian Eco leather which is vegetable tanned and hand washed,
and shaped by precious Canadian European labour and craftsmanship. These
beautiful bags will withstand the test of time and can also be part of a successful
legacy/ --- 3 out of 4 collections are Made in Canada to reduce carbon footprint and
the bags are shipped in recycled boxes.
Launched in February 2008, the line consists of 4 collections: Elite, Pro Rider,
Classic and Wildside and providing a refreshing change to existing travel luggage
offered in the equestrian world.

5. Joanna Wiseberg designer and owner of Red Scarf Equestrian has an extensive
design and production background in the accessory business. She is a graduate
of Ryerson University Fashion program and worked as a designer for
Manufacturers designing for retail private label. She began horse back riding later
in life and when she went out to find a boot bag that would accommodate her tall
boots it was impossible to find anything of quality or even attractive. She
remembers saying: “Designs were all wrong, plaids didn’t match and the quality of
the bags was atrocious. Carrying a boot bag with an elevated bent arm is not
natural and absolutely ridiculous”. So, she decided to change that. She also
realized that there was an untapped market that wants to be associated to
anything Equestrian. Hence, the crossover to lifestyle. You don’t have to ride to
appreciate the prestige of the equestrian sport says Joanna.
The Red Scarf Equestrian collection has something for everyone. The bags are
impeccably designed not just for beauty but are also functional and durable for all
age groups. Clean lines and an unmatched simplicity that are timeless.
The Elite Collection is all Italian leather and offers 2 bag styles. The Pro Rider
Collection offers 6 styles made of water repellent nylon with Italian leather trim.
The Classic collection offers 6 bag designs made from 3 tapestry designs (2
Hunter and 1 Polo) with Italian glazed leather trim. The Wildside is a funky
collection for young riders made from polyester and high quality vinyl.
